What a great Summer it’s been!Remember for best tariffs ring direct 0352892600.

Here we are already the 1st Day of February and the last month of Summer. All our visitors have had a great time and many taking the opportunity before they leave to rebook for next year in order to make sure they get the cottage of their choice. So lovely for us to have the many families revisit from year to year.Watching children grow up and become independent .
Lorne is unique tucked at the base of the Otway Ranges where the towering gums reach the sea.Once a busy bustling fishing village and port for transporting timber by sea from the pier, [which has recently been rebuilt].Back before the rebuild it was a dry dock and boats where winched out of the water onto the Pier, however since it’s rebuilding it is no longer a place to store fishing boats, but a popular fishing spot just the same. Many of our guests boast good catches!!
Lemonade Creek Cottages location, enables our visitors the best of both worlds the peace and tranquility of the Australian bush/rainforrest to hike to the various water features tucked away in cool, ferny, forrest, read a book lazing by the pool or sit on the verandah enjoying a meal or drink alfresco while watching the amazing birdlife and kangaroos graze close by.If you lookup into the gum trees you may see a sleepy Koala snuggled in to the fork of a safe tree! The Austalian Open seems to stimulate people’s love of the sport and so the tennis court has been very popular this year.Great to see youngsters gaining experience and older folk reviving old skills!
The cottages are all very private snuggled into our beautiful gardens and tree line driveways. The air-conditioning has been very welcome this year for those very hot days.
Lorne township is just a 7 minute drive away[6kms]to walk on the beach go out for a meal or shop in the many boutique shops along the main strip.Easy day trips to all places of interest along the Great Ocean Road,as well to explore the hinterland, berry farms and galleries. When it all becomes too much to be able to retreat to Lemonade Creek Cottages.
So much to see and do.
Ray and I feel so blessed to call Lemonade Creek Cottages home.
Still some beautiful months ahead for those travellers who can travel out of the busy season. The weather is so stable just the warm sunny days and cool nights the perfect combination.
Treat your self to a short getaway we all need to give our body and soul respite from time to time and Lemonade Creek Cottages is the perfect destination.
See you soon.
Cheers Liz.
