School holidays are over time for those couples with no children to worry about to take break,treat yourself to a few days at Lemonade Creek Cottages to recharge and soak up all the wonderful energy that is here!It’s been a fabulous Summer heaps of beautiful warm sunny days perfect for relaxing on the beach or lazing by our pool with a book or just sitting on the verandah doing some bird or animal watching.Lorne is a great base and take leisurely scenic drives around the Great Ocean Road and visit all places of interest,like the 12 Apostles,Cape Otway Lighthouse,lunch at Wye River and watch the surf roll in while you relax over a leisurely meal.Did you know there are over 12 different lots of waterfalls and Cascades in the Otway State Park around Lorne,if you are a bush walker it’s the best weather to explore and check some of these amazing places out.Erskine Falls and Coralynne Cascades,well known,however from Sheaok Picnic ground there are heaps,Upper and Lower Kalimna,Castle Rock,Swallow Caves,Henderson Falls just to name a few.The shops all have sales and no cues for cafes really the very best time to revisit Lorne and the Great Ocean Road.Look forward to seeing you soon.Cheers Liz

The gardens are a safe haven and alive with many varieties of native birds,feeders at each cottage ensures you will get a close look as well you will find a bird book to reference to identify the different species.
Kangaroos are frequent visitors and graze around the cottage gardens,as well Koalas can be seen napping in the fork of a gum tree….if you are lucky!
The Great Ocean Road and hinterland roads mid week are very quiet,enabling leisurely trips to explore all places of interest and just enjoy the scenery.Ray and I are only too happy to make suggestions,we also write these on the morning paper if you choose to have it delivered[n/c].

Welcome to Lemonade Creek Cottages!
Our 44 acre property merges into the temperate rainforest of the Angahook-Lorne State Park, and is only 7 minutes from the beach and boutique shops of Lorne.
Just the thing for guests seeking peace and quiet, or for romancing couples looking for somewhere special. To welcome your arrival, you’ll find fresh flowers, chocolates and plunger coffee in your cottage.
The picket fence at the entrance to Lemonade Creek Cottages gives you a hint of the romantic appeal of the cottages. Each one is well hidden amongst the thriving garden landscape providing great privacy. These Victorian heritage style cottages feature the characteristic verandah where you can sit and enjoy brilliant coloured birds feeding in your own front garden.
Inside are high ceilings, a traditional Victorian fireplace surrounded by cosy, upholstered armchairs, a roomy kitchen – with modern appliances of course – one or two bedrooms and a separate bathroom which features a double spa. Although charming and ‘old world’, the total presentation is fresh and sparkling. All the details such as beautiful linen and towels, a teddy bear here or a vase of fresh flowers there, are evidence of the attention that has been lavished throughout the accommodation and facilities.
Swimming pool located in a large enclosed area of beautiful terraced gardens and decks, overlooking scenes of surrounding forested ranges. The water is heated to 28 degrees between September and April.

Scenic walks from the front gate. Walk to Erskine Falls and along the Erskine River through fern groves all the way into Lorne.
Description of rooms/units
The one-bedroom cottage has a king size bed.The two-bedroom cottages have either a king or a queen size bed in the main bedroom and total sleeping accommodation for up to six people.
Kitchens are fully equipped and include a large fridge, cooktop/stove, microwave and dishwasher.
Every bathroom has a large double spa.
The cottages have central heating, air conditioning, television, DVD and VHS players.(the property’s video library has a around 400 titles that can be borrowed at no charge).
All linen is provided.
